COVID-19 UPDATE

Kia ora and welcome to our hostel! Your safety, the safety of our staff and close community are our priority. Please do not come to our hostel if you are unwell and have symptoms of Covid-19. Please call the NZ Healthline number 08003585453 (free phone) for advice, or check with the NZ Government Covid-19 response website

Because we are a high-risk environment with shared common spaces, the Vaccine Passport is mandatory at our hostel from December 15, 2021 . Please be respectful of this decision.

From December 15th we require all staff and guests over 12 to be fully vaccinated. Please be sure to have your valid ID and NZ Vaccine Pass ready on arrival, as our staff will verify using the NZ government verification app upon check-in. If you do not have a vaccination passport, and valid ID, your booking will be cancelled and the normal cancellation policy will apply (we require a full 24 hours notice - except for peak periods December 24 - January 10 when we ask for 48 hours notice)

We have been following the NZ government advice on operating practices. We continue to:

Use the NZ government Covid-19 QR code to sign in all guests
Promote best hygiene practices & awareness of pandemic protocols
Use clear signage posted throughout the property
Provide hand sanitizers and hand-washing access in common/public areas
Clean and deep clean as per recommended government practice

BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy, except during peak periods as above and public holidays. We will honour all bookings made that are non-refundable in the best, fairest way that we can by offering a credit.
